What is Magpie Art Supply about?
Magpie Art Supply gets creative materials into creative hands. We want to bust out underused, unused, and reusable art and craft supplies and equipment from wherever they are languishing and make them available to creative people on a budget. Donors know their valued materials will be used well, creators get low-cost supplies, we keep good stuff out of the landfill and support our communities - EVERYONE WINS!

Magpie Art Supply:Provides affordable resources for artists, educators, and hobbyists;Keeps usable materials in circulation and out of landfills;Honors stash builders who are ready to share their collections with other makers;Builds community through collaborative projects and events.
Really Important Stuff:
Magpie rests on and benefits from unceded lands that were long shared by several Indigenous people groups incuding the Apsáalooke, ṗiik̇ǔni, Séliš-Ql̓ispé, and Tsétsėhéstȧhese. We seek to learn from their relationships with each other and with the Valley of Flowers itself in our stewardship of the creative people and resources entrusted to us, supporting makers across social and cultural constructions.
All humans deserve to create. No one is illegal on stolen lands.Diversity makes us all richer.

Collaborative Creative Community
Magpie Art Supply is a space for everyone to learn from each other, grow in their creativity, and make at least this corner of the world a better place to be. Let us know how we can do that better!

Ongoing Donations

We LOVE your donations! Some ways to help our volunteers avoid throwing your gifts out:*Bring only clean, non-moldy, non-smoky, non-stinky, and non-food used items.
*The more info you can attach to your donations, especially fabric and yarn (content, yardage, etc), the better.
*We’d rather not untangle stuff.
*Please take hazardous materials to the professional waste management folks, not us.
